Social Values
Ye wander the halls of this great Hold, the Everpeak, it is time that ye learned the lessons every beardling learns. There are four values we dwarfs hold above all else, learn them and respect them. First and foremost among our values is that of age. The older a dwarf is, the greater respect he deserves. A dwarf’s age is best measured by the length of their beard or hair, that is why a blade can ne’er touch a dwarf’s hair. It is the greatest shame to cut a dwarf’s hair. Though a dwarf with the title ‘longbeard’ is only a young 120 years old. The eldest amongst us are called ‘living ancestors’, those who have lived past 400 years. There is one among us who is the eldest of all dwarfs. Find this dwarf and return to me once you’ve spoken to them.
Speak with the dwarfs of Karaz-a-Karak looking for the oldest dwarf. Age has made this dwarf somewhat grim so do not expect a pleasant conversation.
