M’ father was the last dwarf to march into Gunbad and get a grasp on the fallen mine. The Brightaxe they called ‘im. He gave his life to reclaim Gunbad in Karaz Ankor’s name, to remove a grudge from the Dammaz Kron. But then the Redeyes came. Filthy shroom fanatics. Gunbad had to be abandoned again, worst of all this occurred on the day High King Morgrim Blackbeard’s royal retinue arrived to visit the recently reclaimed Mount Gunbad. The High King barely made it out alive, but the same could not be said for others. I’d like for you to retrieve my father’s axe from Gunbad. I have no hope of findin’ his remains as I was told he was eaten by a giant squig, but not even a squigs stomach can digest a gromril waraxe decorated with brynduraz.
