Ye think I’m crazy dont ye? Dreadfully stupid creatures trolls be, I feel a certain solidarity with them. A little troll obsessed at the least? I’m not the only one, hah! Would ye believe me if I told ye that runesmiths also ‘ave a use for trolls? Ah, now your curiosity is peaked. For a slayer kulgur is an art, but for a runesmith arkhandrazkal is an ancient art practiced by few. No wonder it’s practiced by few when they spend all their time hammerin’ in Holds and not enough time lookin’ for trolls! What is arkhandrazkal ye ask? Why it’s the art of inscribing runes on rare metals with a troll’s tooth! The more ancient the beast the better, and the taint of a chaos troll will never do. Odd as it may sound, the purer the troll, the better the tooth for rune magic. Say… old Kragg the Grim would probably give me a great axe if I traded ‘im for a troll tooth. What do you say you help me acquire this troll tooth? After all I’ve taught you, one could say ye owe me. Hah!

Search for an ancient troll of a pure variety. The trolls of Black Crag have long been allowed to grow uncontrolled given the lack of dwarfs there. Perhaps you’ll find the perfect troll searching the crags and caves there.
