Directly ahead the stairs rise and give way to the Steps, the Steps of Ruin. These giant steps appear as a staircase to the Realm of Chaos from leagues away. It is not until one draws nearer to them that you realize these steps are not meant for mortal feet. The Steps of Ruin ascend to the gateway to Khorne's realm. Blocking the path forward is the Brass Legion, a host of daemons forged by Khorne's malice. If you are to defeat these daemonic legions, you will have to decapitate the Bloodletters leading the Legion.

Ascend the Steps of Ruin within Bastion Stair, and defeat Kaarn the Vanquisher at its summit. Return to Calvus Abendroth once your task is completed.
