The Tainted Child

Fortune is on our side, |c. It seems that most of the suspected heretics in New Emskrank have already been put to the torch and confessed to their heresy. This means that I am free to travel into Norsca in pursuit of Gustav the Tainted, though landing on that hostile coast will be no easy feat. You however have already proven that you know how to roll your dice properly when it comes to swimming. I shall join a strike force of the Second Fleet and sail across the Sea of Claws. Your role in this will be to travel ahead of us and light signal fires on the southern coast of Norsca, hopefully burning a few ships in the process. After that you can make your way back south via the land route passing through Troll Country. I discovered in the crate that one of my colleagues Hansa Gruber had orders to travel to Troll Country in pursuit of the Tainted Child. Perhaps Friedrich Haelund at Blackbramble Hollow will have more up-to-date information.

Make your way across the Sea of Claws to the southern coast of Norsca. The Norse fleet is amassing outside Suderholm. Light the ships on fire using nearby driftwood as kindling. This will act as a beacon for the Second Fleet to strike. When you have done this, return south by way of Troll Country and speak with Friedrich Haelund at the Blackbramble Hollow warcamp.
