I am afraid Black Fire Pass is not known for its wizards... more so for its thriving population of priests and penitents. There were none at Hindelburg, and in my travels I never encountered any in Altstadt or Priesterstadt. A small company did pass here going south to the Badlands. Three wizards and their learned associate. One was a spiritter... I'd not trust a spiritter with a text like this. The other was kinder on the eyes. He just might be able to make head or tails of it. His name's Von Burbinstein. He's been helping the Oathbearers to locate the brightstone mine there. The men went south with a dwarfen mining troop led by the engineer Halma Silverbrow. She mentioned joining up with her friend Dunhilda.

Travel south from Proudrock and enter the Badlands. Search for Alaric Von Burbinstein in the Oathbearer camp there. Take the grimoire to him.
