You unearth a small purifying vessel, typically used by ancient Nehekharans to cleanse their hands when entering a holy place. The vessel's only value is in its gold weight. Though you have found all the treasures the Tomb Raider had knowledge of, you have a feeling that Qeb Runihura will not be pleased unless you've paid the right respects to the treasures. You need to clean the canopic jar of all the dust and grime from millennia of being buried. You have a vessel to scoop up water, and you have linen to wrap the canopic jar in, all you need is non-toxic water... Fortunately the map of the necropolis that the tomb raider sold you indicates a pool of water just west of the Quay of Seftu.

Go to the Reflecting Pool and at the steps dip the Purifying Vessel into the water by right clicking it in your quest inventory. Then right click the Canopic Jar to clean it, and the Burial Linen to wrap the cleaned jar. Once you have cleansed the Canopic Jar, return to Kneph Hasani in the Garden of Qu'aph.
