I saw it! A flash of light then it was gone. I was keepin' an eye on those greenskins in the valley with the spyglass when I saw it. A gem of unsurpassed quality still set in the eye of an age old statue. That's the statue right down there, in the center of all that filth and muck. The statue is beyond repair but that gem... a gem of that size would be worth its weight in gold a thousand times over! That is to someone with the backbone to march down there and take it.
Search the Muck Pen in Echo Bluff for the old Dwarf statue. Pry the gem from its eyesocket. Return to Farlin Ironbeard in Oathgrund's Watch when done.
