Thorbeck's probably already sent his hatchet-man, Mard the Incoherent, to do us in given that you haven't returned to him yet. Find Mard the Incoherent in the eastern end of Forbidden Pass - he's your real target. His skull, along with this one you brought me, should be enough to fool Thorbeck. He gets his skulls, and we get our peace.
Track down Mard the Incoherent inside Forbidden Pass and kill him! You will have to draw Mard the Incoherent out by tampering with his axe. Return to Thorbeck and report that the assassination plot has been foiled, providing the two heads as proof. NOTE: This quest will summon a hero-level NPC.
