I have heard the cries of our fellows, who have ascended the Steps of Ruin as far as the great Brass Fortress, only to be torn to pieces by flesh hounds. The pack of flesh hounds is led by a particularly ugly cur known as Clawfang. You must go into the Fortress of Brass, to track down this menace and dispose of it.
Ascend the Steps of Ruin to find the dominant Flesh Hound of the Fortress of Brass, the one called Clawfang. Kill him. Return to Vidkun Geldik when done.
