Oh, you're still here, eh? I just can't stop thinking of poor Freidrich wastin' away from that fever. Eats away at me, and that's nearly as bad as the rot that took his nosehole! Makes me think of my dear aunt Teresa and her time-tested cure for everything - canine lard. That's right. Knee pain? Smear your knees with canine lard. Toothache? Rub some canine lard into yer gums. Stomach woes? Eat some canine lard with a slice of bread. Impotency? Erm, well you get the picture. Not that either of us will ever have that problem! Erm. Right, where was I? Oh yes, if you can go and skin a fat wolf for me, one of those Bloodfog ones, then I can work the lard out of its hide and make the ointment that'll save someone's life. Can even spare you some of my other home-made brews!

Travel south towards Shadow Lake and look for Bloodfog Wolves. Kill them until you find a sufficiently fatty one who will provide you with the right hide. Return to Private Betz in Lissariel's Shade at Kraussner's Garrison.
