Since arriving here my gaze has ever been fixed to the south. Look beyond the twisted trees and see those rocks jutting into the sky high atop that ridge. They are like the fingers of Chaos clawing at the very Winds of Chaos. Our route south has no option but to pass under the shadow of these dark fingers. Scouts trying to reach Konig's company have reported hearing and seeing some dark ritual taking place atop that ridge. I am certain that the location is some conduit for the Winds of Chaos. If my theory is true, then our enemies will use this location to unleash devastating magic against our already-weakened soldiers.

Travel to the Chaos Ruins and interrupt whatever ritual is taking place there. Kill the Shifting Adepts and destroy the Power Stones to weaken their connection to the Winds of Chaos. Return to Captain Nuhr at Nuhr's Crest when done.
