While you were off huntin' for those ingredients, we were attacked by those blue faced orc and their allies, possibly in retaliation for killin' that orc boss. One of those bloody chuffers made off with my forgin' hammer. He ran into a cave across the gorge, known as Olin's Hidout - ask him why. When the urk emerged from the cave my trustly rifile took him down with one shot. He probably buried the hammer in that cave.
Go to Olin's Hideout and see if there is any loose earth that would betray where the savage orc buried Thorgrund's forging hammer.
