These creatures are apparently confined to an ice cave in the High Pass region. There's a cave near the encampment used by the Cult of the Magus. Could this be the cave the contract speaks of?
Investigate the ice cave near the Cult of the Magus in High Pass. When you have done so, return to Brother Lance at Raven's End in High Pass.
