Take this sack of coin to them -- but tell them you'll give them the money when you have the list, and when you're sure it's genuine. Once they give you the list, kill as many of them as you need to in order to get back here with the list. In fact, go ahead and kill a few extra, if the mood strikes you. That should convince them to never again attempt to sell me my own property!

Return to the Serpent's Fang Bandit camp and speak with the Serpent's Fang Negotiator. Give him the money for the list, but be prepared to betray him and kill him and his associates.
