Murder Wood

You wouldn't believe the tales those old hens tell! Maybe I'll believe them about the beastmen now that you've shown me those horns, maybe, but about changlings?! Never! They say it appears in the village looking like one of the villagers, but in truth it's a foul daemon trying to consume souls! One day it looks like Thorbald the miller, and the next day like Francine the baker's wife. The things those old hens will say! What do you mean where does it live? It doesn't exist I tell you! The old hens say it lives in the Murder Wood, apparently with all the other nightmares in their feather-filled brains! They say its true nature is only revealed in a reflection, otherwise it will appear to you as a loved one, a neighbor, or even Karl Franz! Guess it lives by the lake so it can look at its own beautiful face!

Venture back into the Murder Wood and search by the lake for anything suspicious that could indicate the presence of a foul force.
