Morr's bane upon this land! These undead deny his embrace, that or he has forsaken us. Let us pray that it is the former and that Morr has not abandoned us. Herr Traschel says this is the work of the plague doctors, but I do not think they acted alone. Their agents had to spread this plague somehow. Thus far the Temple's agents have all pursued the plague's origins to Talabecland. Now we only have to find the source. I began my own investigation in Unterbaum, but once the dead began to rise we were quickly forced out of the town overnight. My notes are still in the inn. Are you brave enough to retrieve them?

Travel to the town of Unterbaum and enter the local tavern. Search for Vogel's Notes and bring them back to him atop One Tree Hill.
