Hope Rekindled

We are a shattered force, |n. When the enemy attacked us, we splintered rather than holding together. It was an event that could not be prevented, and one that cost many High Elf lives. Our attack faltered, and we were forced to retreat. I had feared that many of our warriors were killed or dragged to the camp of the Executioners. With the coming of the dawn, I have new hope. Some of our forces did not fall; rather, they retreated as we did. The host to the north that was to support us has advanced unhindered, and they are now preparing to assault the enemy. What remains of our army must be gathered and sent to aid the forces that now amass to the north. The Dark Elves think us beaten, but we will prove to them that we have never been stronger!
