Lure of the Liche Lord

You and I are getting paid to see this cargo safely to Thunder Mountain, and it isn't an easy road ahead of us. The company that I work for, Erstheim's Coaching, has set up relay stations along these southern lands. We get from Point A to Point B and another rider takes over with fresh horses. No wastin' time waiting for horses and riders to rest. Your job in this endeavour is to be the hired muscle. You make sure the road ahead of us is clear. But we're workin' on the clock here. You fail to clear the route and I'll find another more capable sort to do the job. Getting through Black Fire Pass shouldn't be difficult. Take these flares. Fire them off in specific locations I'll mark on your map, and that way I'll know the way is clear and come following behind. Make it to my contact in Thardrik and this stage of the journey's behind us. Easy enough?

Make sure the road ahead of you is clear for the Coachman to escort the cargo. Use the flares in your quest inventory to indicate that the road is clear. Use the Caravan Standard Flare at Furrig's Fall, then the Celebrating Flare at Bugman's Brewery, then the Inspiring Flare at Altstadt, then the Hammering Flare at Grimbeard Station, and finally the Proud Flare at Thardrik. Each flare must be fired in order. Afterwards speak with the Coachwoman at the southern gate of Black Fire Pass. NOTE: This is a timed quest, if you fail, you will have to restart with the Coachman at the north-west corner of Black Fire Pass.
