The Screaming Scroll

You northerners crave nothing other than wealth and power. To Nehekharans, everyone is a northerner, you too. Sakhmet sung a song into your ear and you flocked south with great haste. How is it that you traveled so far south, beyond the Empire you seek to conquer, yet you have not conquered it still? But of course, you seek something to aid in your conquest, for your powers are too weak on their own. The Casket of Souls is it? One group was foolish enough to try and steal our secrets, they got far, but not far enough. However, they managed to spread the tale, and the tale is where all our troubles begin. Death can claim the man, but it cannot claim the tale. Go to the capital of the northerners and see what they have learned, what they seek, and why they are coming to our sands.

Travel to the Inevitable City and look for its library. Speak to one of the librarians within to see what knowledge they have of ancient Nehekhara. Perhaps it will give you a clue regarding what they are looking for.
