The dragons are ancient allies of the elves, though not all have pure hearts. Some have their hearts blackened by the Druchii, while others are simply twisted by the winds of Chaos over the centuries. Gholnaros is one such ancient dragon who has lost his heart to darkness, and not of the Druchii making. I fear he may answer his dark master during Twilight's Tide.

Travel to Dragonwake and kill Gholnaros the Deathless in his lair. Return to Thealyn of Mistglade in your capital for your reward. NOTE: Taking this quest will prevent you from taking "Dragons of Dragonwake - Dragon's Bane" or "Dragons of Dragonwake - Awakening Ritual"
