That Jack fella, he’s earning a reputation round here for being deceitful, maniupulative, lazy, and cunning. He’s applied his fine intelligence to wriggling out of any work that I asked of him, preferring to lie under a solitary oak endlessly whittling instead. He likes to earn an easy silver from gambling, which to be fair he is very good at, which he spends all of at the local pub. I don’t think he’s never made a single enemy, nor made a single friend and never performed a selfless act for anyone. Stingy Jack, he’s a miserable old drunk and he likes to play tricks on everyone.
