Strictures of Morr
Ostland will crawl out of the shadow of Morrslieb in time, but you are needed elsewhere. In these dark times my thoughts turn to my grandfather… his cold bones far beyond the embrace of Morr in High Pass. High Pass is an inhospitable place, though an Empire garrison served there in ages past due to a treaty with Kislev to block the pass from Chaos incursions. My ancestors fought against Asavar Kul there, and now there are rumors that Asavar Kul stirs to life. Ostlanders spit at his name. You can do me and the Empire a favor in one trip. Scale Hallenfurt Manor and use the ancient dwarven spy-glass to check for signs of life… or the dead who stir to life at Asavar Kul’s keep. While you’re there you can say a prayer at the gates of the cemetery where the Ostlanders lie with that tome you’ve acquired. Then if you could do me a favor and take this feather, a symbol of Morr and my Order, and place it in the center of High Pass Cemetery, the winds will carry it to my grandfather’s grave.
Travel to High Pass and fulfill the wishes of Reichert von Klaus, in his name, in the name of the Ostlanders, and in the name of the Empire. Afterwards give your scout report to Captain Hans Boschmar at the Dogbite Ridge warcamp.
