He seemed to purposefully spread plague among the local population of Troll Country to help them both spread death and die faster for his experimentation. It seems he even tried to infect his ‘trusted assistant’ Rorrim Rotscale. Though, based on the change in handwriting, it seems the journal switched owners at some point and it curses ‘Master Devorak’ as a ‘back-stabbing monster’ whose obsession with death values no life. Could this Devorak be the source behind the powerful winds of death?

Travel to Troll Country and plunge your Changed Sword into the hill with the Plague Graves to change the essence of the ground. Then destroy the herd of plague-spreading Blightstone Trolls north of Trovolek. Lastly, find Rorrim Rotscale whose last entry writes of Trovolek and how the plague has come to find him.
