The witch hunter’s dying words were ‘Aleksander’ and he pointed to the east. You search his pockets but find no orders. Your senses are overwhelmed as the smell of charred flesh penetrates your nose and the taste of ash stings your tongue. You steady your shaking hand and your focus through the swirl of ash and golden leaves to the east. It is then you hear the din of battle and that familiar guttural roar you heard at the Black Mire.
