The Tainted Child - Burying the Drowned

You are not sure if Georgiy is mute, but he communicates with grunts and by drawing in the dirt. He understands you, though communicating with you is a challenge. Through his gestures and finger drawings in the dirt you learn that Georgiy stumbled upon a corpse in the river, the corpse of a Small God. Though he never came up to the Vodianoi to interact with him, the Vodianoi would often bring fish for Georgiy, leaving them on the riverbank. So he did know where Georgiy was and didn’t tell you, or perhaps he would have told you if you didn’t kill him. Now Georgiy asks you to bury the Small God.

Georgiy indicates that he began to dig a grave for the Vodianoi, but now that you are here he would like you to finish the task before he will have more to say to you. Bury the Vodianoi and return to Georgiy.
