Your purpose south was not in vain, fear not, for your pursuit of killing the priests of the Empire has helped to shatter their resolve, and aid to Kislev is slower to muster than the Emperor expected. Yet if the assault is to succeed, then the Dolgans must find the sorcerer who toys with them so. High Pass is the place, though he is powerful and hides his exact location. Perhaps the Dolgan Jarl in those parts will help you more. Though the Raven Sight tells me that ogres are a far more serious problem for his people than death and ice magic.

Travel to High Pass and deal with a local ogre problem that has plagued the route across High Pass. By resolving this problem you can earn much needed respect in the eyes of the Dolgan Chief Huldyn. He will have more information regarding his people’s plight.
