Solve a riddle they said, It’ll be fun they said. Now look at me, I used to be human once! I’ve ended up in this god-forsaken place and to top it all off, I’ve lost my horse. It just wasn’t the same anymore after I stepped foot in this place. You look sane enough though, at least for the time-being. Maybe you could take my place and solve this riddle, and report to my regiment leader, and while you’re at it, maybe find my horse. Opening the sheet of paper given to you, it reads “A heavily fortified city, known for great trade, now war-torn and destroyed. Some say the merchants joined the war-effort, while others fled to safer pastures. Only the insane would stay in their homes.”
