As you turn the pages the text becomes increasingly more frantic. These are not the writings of a madman, for dwarfs are resistant to the powers of Chaos. No they are the ravings of a drunk, and even this is strange for dwarfs are known to hold their alcohol quite well. As you read the text you discover that it was Bronzeshield’s fear that drove him to this stupor - they had located signs of Karak Vlag, the Hold whose very name is unspeakable to the dwarfs. The next page reveals something that troubles even you - written by a different author in what you cannot tell if it was blood or an oily ink is the text ‘You will be hunted, you will be killed.’ The following page is once again Bronzeshield’s writing and he writes ‘Word of what we found can never reach any ears, everything must be destroyed. Our lives are forfeit.’ Written below Bronzebeard’s text, as if replying to him and mocking him, is the text, ‘I will not be silenced. Try your best. It is you who will be silenced.’

As you read the last line in the journal a daemonic cackle rings around your ears. You are a |r, you do not fear Chaos, but still you are left unsettled. Perhaps the dwarf was right, perhaps this text should be destroyed. Return to Aekold Helbrass in Karak Eight Peaks if you survive.
