Sumtimes it’s ‘ard ta see across da chasm wen dat white smoke comes up from da bottom, so da gas squiggies is our alarms. Dey release da gas when deys scared and da torch under dere cage lights da gas on fire and boom! We’z know dat sumfing is comin’ wut we can’t see. ‘Cept now we’z short gas squiggies. Need ta put sumfing in dem cages so we’z got an alarm or else Boss Morglum is gunna put my ‘ead in one of dem cages.

There has to be an immediate way to replace the missing gas squigs without having to go to the nursery and waiting for new ones to hatch.
