I was slowly draining soul essence from the city, but now that you laid eyes on it it clings to your soul. You will only free it from your grasp by quickly consuming the souls of others. I suggest you find some soul no one will miss, perhaps in the mines. Oh, and make sure they are green, it will give the skull a healthy glow fit for our hosts.

The Changer's Skull clings to you, and the only way to remove it is to have it consume the soul of another, perhaps a menial worker in the mines?
