Kumenouth

What a joyous event, to see one’s firstborn go through their kumenouth, the rite into adulthood. We Barruk’s are known as the Gold Shields, the shield is our mark and the shield is our pride. A Barruk shield will ne’er fail ye. All that’s left for my son is to complete ‘is knublsprube - the apprentice work - and present it to the elders. ‘E should be nearly finished now. I’m sure it’ll be a shield worthy of a thane. Can ye go check in on ‘im for me? He’ll be in the Forge no doubt hard at work.
