A lantern ye say that would allow us to mine without the use o’candles? Will the light be brighter than a candle’s? Strain on the eyes to work in darkness under a candles dim light. We need bright light and not something that a draft can extinguish! Tell that Silverscar that if ‘is lantern will work on a miner’s helm and proves more reliable than candles then I’ll have the lads try ‘em out. If they’re of any worth then I’ll even arm wrestle Damminsson if he tries to complain.

Return to Norri Silverscar with news that the Miner’s Guild will accept his lanterns for a trial, and should they succeed in the deep mines, then perhaps the Silverscars will have a brighter future.
