Dark times |c, dark times. Uzkular rises again. The Order of Guardians precedes even the manling templars and witch hunters. Long have we struggled against uzkular. For years we have known relative peace, but recently our High King ordered his throng of Oathbearers into lands covered with the miasma of death. The Marshes of Madness, what madness led us there? The Badlands, never a good idea for a dwarf to go there. Black Crag where daylight goes to die, eaten alive by the grobi. The Order of Guardians holds no power over these places. Uzkular did not come to us, we came to it. And now we must fight it lest it overwhelm our Oathbearers. I’ll send my best Guardian to meet you at Thurarikson’s Warcamp.

Master Guardian Vulrek Nightgaze of the Order of Guardians, an ancient order of dwarfen witch hunters, has given you orders to hunt down uzkular - undeath - before it can creep up on the Oathbearer army marching in hostile lands. Even the Order of Guardians has little power here so you will be on your own. Your first target is a Mourkain tomb that sits beside the main road the Oathbearers use.
