The unlocked chest draws your attention and you notice a bottle which seems to have a scroll in it. What a strange way to store a scroll... well if there is no scrollcase, then an empty bottle will do. The scroll reads: “Gunther Kleinbach, I’m not sure how much longer I'll last around here. The marauders are savage, destroying everything in their path. I hear you plan to travel to Ostland. I have thought to join you to escape from the madness, but that would be betraying what we fight for, and I’m not sure I can cross that line. Do you remember the magical bands we talked about? I trust that you will be able to keep them safe.”
